What is the Romantic Zone in Puerto Vallarta? The Romantic Zone is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Puerto Vallarta, and while new buildings and businesses have moved in, it’s still known as Old Town Puerto Vallarta. The Rio Cuale divides it from Centro, and it ends along Los Muertos Beach when the mountains rise up to the south.
